Many growth charts traditionally use a linear scale, such as from 1 to 10, where 1 represents a novice and 10 an expert.
While these charts can inspire reflection, they often lead to the perception that reaching the top of the scale is the ultimate goal. This contradicts our belief that growth, learning, and development are continuous journeys without a final destination.
We prefer a spiral model to symbolize this never-ending journey. This circular design invites contemplation, suggesting that no matter how much one evolves, there is always more to explore and achieve.
Questions to consider...
Do we need to review knowledge we thought we had?
Has anything changed in domains where we consider ourselves experts that might require us to reset and start learning anew?
How do we stay on top of changing trends and evolving knowledge?
What new challenges can we embrace to push our boundaries further?
In what ways can we foster a culture that values ongoing education and growth?
