The Keppian Model for Feedback Urgency can be a useful tool for questioning the urgency of feedback needed in various situations.
The Y axis considers the rate of change and the potential impact of that change. For instance, you might be in a rapidly changing market, but if the changes are not significantly costly, the urgency for frequent feedback may be lower.
The X axis considers the level of uncertainty and the potential impact of that uncertainty. For example, if a product is being developed with a high level of overall certainty, but the few uncertain aspects are critical, they could significantly affect the product's success, necessitating more frequent feedback.
The Keppian Model does not provide direct answers; rather, it offers a framework for thinking. It encourages you to ask questions and reflect on how urgently you need feedback based on the specific context of change and uncertainty in your situation.
